Welcome to the Schools Division Office (SDO) Tabaco City webpage! It is a great honor to be serving as the Superintendent of this division. Since April 6, 2015, I have been blessed to work with the people of Tabaco City. The employees of SDO Tabaco City are exceptional. The division has rich human resources, very strong support in terms of funding allocation from the local government unit and has close linkage with almost all sectors and agencies in the city and nearby municipalities.
The strength of our division is felt within our functional divisions. Our personnel from the Office of the Schools Division Superintendent (OSDS), Curriculum and Implementation Division (CID) and School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD) generously give their time and effort to improve services and become more transparent to citizens and other stakeholders. Even the school heads and teachers are being encouraged to provide more-responsive service, better collaboration with customers, increased transparency to the general public, and more proactive efforts to improve customer satisfaction.
To the DepEd Tabaco City family, thank you for the untiring support given to this division. I am looking forward to a more successful working relationship with you all in the coming years as we perform our mandate.
THE SDO TABACO CITY
The establishment of a separate Division for Tabaco was a dream for many leaders and Tabaqueños. This dream came into fruition when on March 25, 2001 Tabaco became a city by virtue of R.A. 9020, authored by Congresswoman Ceilo Krisel Lagman-Luistro, supported by Mayor Alex Burce and the Tabaco Municipal Council. From a fledging Division with just a Superintendent, a handful staff and a borrowed office, it has gone a long way in its committed and dedicated service.
We dream of Filipinos

to better serve its stakeholders.
To protect and promote the right of every Filipino
to quality, equitable, culture-based and complete basic education where:
Students learn in a child-friendly, gender-sensitive, safe, motivating environment.
Teachers facilitate learning and constantly nurture every learner.
Administrators and staff, as stewards of the institution, ensure an enabling
and supportive environment for effective learning to happen.
Family, community, and other stakeholders are actively engaged and share
responsibility for developing life-long learners.
